The RSS kites arrived in 2018 They have no mesh but have good flight characteristics in line with the other 1.5 sails.
The custom graphics were designed by Felix in the spirit of Jørgen's design for the 1992 Rokkaku sails.
These sails have become the teams preferred kite in high or not so high winds.

The sails were, in effect, a prototype for the final production kite. In September 2023 Felix added the additional element in the production model to the set.

Four of the new Revolution Super Spider (RSS) sails were given a workout by Ashley Mottram, Chris Goff, Lynn Foster and David Hathaway.

A strong and sometimes turbulent breeze on Saturday 29th July provided a good opportunity to put the Revolution 'RSS' sails through their paces in the team demonstrations. These sails are flown with three wrap Ultra Light Revolution spars in the leading edges!
